Applications 4,4',4''-Tris[2-naphthyl(phenyl)amino]triphenylamine (2-TNATA), a starburst type molecule, gives very homogeneous thin-films that are ideal as hole-injection layers due to its low ionisation potential (of around 5.1 eV.
It has been demonstrated that p-i-n organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) incorporating a p-doped transport layer that comprises tungsten oxide (WO3) and 2-TNATA significantly improves hole injection and conductivity of the Alq3 based p-i-n OLEDs with long lifetime, low driving voltage (3.1 V), and high power efficiency (3.5 lm/W) at 100 cd/m2.
Uses It is a famous hole transport material which could be utilized for high performance and high-efficiency OLED devices. Colors contain white light and deep blue,meanwhile the lifetimes are much more efficient (resulting efficiency was 6.0 lm/W (12.4 cd/A) a
