Ciwujianoside B is isolated from Eleutherococcus senticosus leaf, is able to penetrate and work in the brain after the oral administration. Ciwujianoside B significantly enhances object recognition memory[1].
Ciwujianoside B shows radioprotective effects on the hematopoietic system in mice, which is associated with changes in the cell cycle, reduces DNA damage and down-regulates the ratio of Bax/Bcl-2 in bone marrow cells exposed to radiation[2]. | [References]
