SKF 106760 is a potent platelet fibrin receptor (glycoprotein IIb/IIIa) antagonist with significant antiplatelet and antithrombotic activities. SKF 106760 inhibits platelet aggregation in dogs in vitro and prevents thrombus formation in stenotic carotid arteries.
