Reddish-dark blue powder. Insoluble in water and alcohol, readily soluble in sodium sulfide solution, giving a yellowish-green color. It turns yellow-orange in alkaline reducing solutions and greenish-yellow in acidic reducing solutions. It turns dark blue in concentrated sulfuric acid, producing a blue precipitate upon dilution. | [Preparation]
