Behenoyl chloride is a biochemical reagent that can be used as a biological material or organic compound for life science related research.
[Purification Methods]

If the IR shows OH bands, then it should be dissolved in oxalyl chloride in *C6H6 solution and warmed at 35o for 24hours in the absence of moisture, evaporated and distilled in a vacuum of 10-5mm.
