yellowish liquid with a very strong, citrus odor reminiscent of nuances in orange
and mandarin oil. It can be prepared by Knoevenagel condensation of undecanal
with cyanoacetic acid and subsequent decarboxylation.
It is used in compositions with citrus notes for perfuming, for example, cosmetics,
