Pale yellow waxy solid, odorless, slightly sweet. Soluble in glycerin, benzene, propylene glycol, hot ethanol, and cold ethyl acetate. Insoluble in cold water, but dispersible into an emulsion by stirring in hot water. HLB value is 11.3 (hexamer). LD50 in rats: 20 g/kg, Adl: 0-25 mg/kg (FAO/WHO, 1994). | [Uses]
