Methyl piperazine-2-carboxylate (compound 4) is a potent METTL3/METTL14/WTAP activator. Methyl piperazine-2-carboxylate increases HIV-1 p24 virion production. Methyl piperazine-2-carboxylate increases the N6-adenosine methylation level in the viral RNA genome[1].
