2,4-Dihydroxypyrido[3,2-d]pyrimidine is used as a reagent in the synthesis of diaminoquinazolines as antitubercular agents. 2,4-Dihydroxypyrido[3,2-d]pyrimidine may also be used as a potential histamine H4 receptor antagonist. | [Synthesis]
