Basic Yellow 24 is used for dyeing acrylic fibers and their blends. It produces a fluorescent pale yellow on acrylic fibers, making it one of the most vibrant varieties of pale yellow. When dyeing in acetic acid and sodium acetate baths, pH has minimal impact on the color. It is often combined with Cationic Red 2GL and Cationic Brilliant Blue RL to form the three primary colors, creating vibrant hues and light to medium shades such as beige, brown, camel, and gray. It is also used for direct printing on acrylic and silk fabrics. When used in the same bath as grafted dyeing for silk, it improves colorfastness. Furthermore, it is used for dyeing wool-acrylic or viscose-acrylic blends, with minimal staining on wool and viscose fibers. | [Preparation]
