Isobutyl phenoxyacetate has been used - and probably still finds some use - in Honey-bases for perfumery, the various"miel"types, etc.

Isobutyl phenoxyacetate is prepared from iso-Butanol by esterification with Phenoxyacetic acid preferably under azeotropic conditions.
