4-((3-chloro-2-fluorophenyl)amino)-7-methoxyquinazolin-6-yl acetate (200 mg) was used as starting material and dissolved in methanol (2 ml). Subsequently, aqueous ammonia solution (7N, 1 ml) was added to the reaction system. The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 2 hours. After completion of the reaction, the solvent was removed by concentration under reduced pressure to afford the target product 4-((3-chloro-2-fluorophenyl)amino)-7-methoxy-6-ol (white solid, 176 mg, quantitative yield). | [References]
