Disperse Red 74 is mainly used for dyeing and printing polyester and blended fabrics. It is used to dye polyester-cotton blended yarns and polyester knitted yarns using a high-temperature, high-pressure method, and is also used for direct printing on polyester-cotton blended fabrics. It has good lightfastness and sublimation fastness. It is one of the three primary colors of high-temperature disperse dyes and can be blended with Disperse Red Jade H2GFL to dye reddish-brown, with Disperse Yellow Brown H2RL to dye reddish-brown, and with Vat Red R to dye rust red in a hot-melt pad bath. It can also be used to dye diacetate, triacetate, and nylon, but only produces light colors when dyeing acrylic fibers. | [Properties and Applications]
