The general procedure for the synthesis of 1-(6'-aminospiro[cyclopropane-1,3'-indolin]-1'-yl)ethanone from the compound (CAS: 645419-12-1) was as follows: 1-acetyl-6-nitro-1,2-dihydro-3-spiro-1'-cyclopropyl-1H-indole (383 mg, 2 mmol) was mixed with Pd-C (10%, 100 mg) The mixture in EtOH (50 mL) was stirred at room temperature for 1.5 h in H2 (1 atm) atmosphere. Upon completion of the reaction, the catalyst was removed by filtration and the filtrate was concentrated under reduced pressure. The resulting residue was treated with HCl/MeOH solution to afford 1-acetyl-6-amino-1,2-dihydro-3-spiro-1'-cyclopropyl-1H-indole (DC-2) (300 mg, 90% yield) in the form of hydrochloride. | [References]
