- As a surfactant in the synthesis of poly(methyl methacrylate)-poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) core-shell particles via emulsion polymerization.
- As an additive in the synthesis of mesoporous nanocrystalline TiO2 microspheres to increasing the degree of crystallization and modification in the texture of TiO2.
