 | | [Biological Activity]
Methyl violet 2B is a cationic dye with a triphenylmethane structure. It acts as a selective dye and facilitates the differentiation of Klebsiella pneumoniae from Enterobacter aerogenes and other gram-negative organisms. Methyl violet 2B is harmful if inhaledswallowed or absorbed through skincontact may cause damage to skin and eyes. Hencethe dye removal is of gre at importance.
