Sornidipine is a calcium channel blocker. Sornidipine also reduces neurogenic inflammation. Sornidipine reduces the inflow of calcium ions into cells by blocking L-type calcium channels, thereby reducing the contraction of vascular smooth muscle, leading to vasodilation and decreased blood pressure.
