六氟磷酸四乙氰铜是一种红褐色结晶性粉末，储存的地方必须远离氧化剂。
用途
六氟磷酸四乙氰铜是一种红褐色结晶性粉末，可用作金属催化剂。合成方法
在搅拌的情况下，将Cu2O（1克，7毫摩尔）溶解于MeCN（20毫升）中，然后将60%的HPF6（2.5 mL）以0.5 mL的份量加入到上述溶液中（加入过程中会释放热量，这有助于溶解形成的白色固体）。搅拌热溶液3分钟，并用漏斗过滤，用少量的乙腈清何剩余的白色固体。将所得的反应滤液冷却到-20度，持续3小时，可以观察到有白色固体析出。通过过滤收集产生的白色沉淀，并用乙醚洗涤，将沉淀物重新溶解在乙腈（25毫升）中，过滤。加入乙醚（25毫升），冷却至-20度并在这个温度下静置过夜，过滤白色沉淀，用乙醚洗涤，真空干燥即可得到目标产物六氟磷酸四乙氰铜。
