R18 trifluoroacetate has been used to treat 12-d-old or 14-d-oldSuper:C-repeat-binding factors (CBFs)-Mycplants for CBF protein immunoblots to study the effect of R18 on CBF3 degradation in planta.

General Description

R18 trifluoroacetate is a nonphosphorylated peptide. This peptide was originally identified as a high-affinity 14-3-3 ligand by phage display.

Biochem/physiol Actions

C-repeat-binding factors (CBFs) protein -Myctransgenic plants, R18 is capable of reducing the degradation ofCBF1 and CBF3.
