N-acetylmorpholine is a kind of oxaza compound mainly used to synthesize medical disinfectant use in agriculture, Aromatics Extractive Project agents, and gas sweetening agents.

Synthesis

Acetic acid and morpholine Reactive Synthesis N-Acetylmorpholine, the first step generates alkylbenzyldimethylasaltsum salts and a strong exothermal reaction; both can carry out under normal temperature, the alkylbenzyldimethylasaltsum saltsum of generation is solid; The dehydration of second step alkylbenzyldimethylasaltsum saltsum generates N-acetyl morphine, is thermo-negative reaction, need at high temperature to carry out, and speed of response is slow. The rate-determining steps of acetic acid and morpholine Reactive Synthesis N-Acetylmorpholine are morpholine dehydration of salt, and high temperature and in time dehydration are favorable to raising the speed of response.

Purification Methods
