Uses
Borocaptate sodium is a boron-containing compound that can be used as a therapeutic agent in boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT), exhibiting anticancer activity[1][2].

Borocaptate sodium (55 mg/kg, i.v., single dose) selectively targets intracranial tumors in dogs and inhibits their growth[2].

| Result: | Resulted in boron concentrations of 35.9 μg/g in the tumor at 2 hours, 22.5 μg/g at 6 hours, and 7.0 μg/g at 12 hours. The boron concentration in the tumor was higher than that in normal brain tissue, with a favorable tumor-to-brain ratio. |
