5-methyl-2-HOBA is an isoketal scavenger. It reduces angiotensin II-induced increases in systolic blood pressure in mice.
Uses
2-(Aminomethyl)-4-methylphenol (5-methyl-2-HOBA) hydrochloride is an isoketal scavenger that attenuates the hypertensive response to angiotensin II[1].
