Description
Hydroxy-PEG4-nitrile is a PEG linker which contains a hydroxyl group and a nitrile group. The hydroxyl group enables further derivatization or replacement with other reactive functional groups. The nitrile group can undergo hydrolysis, reduction and other reactions. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases the solubility in aqueous media.
Uses
Hydroxy-PEG4-C2-nitrile is a PEG-based PROTAC linker that can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs[1].
