Acid Red 215 Chemical Properties,Uses,Production
Uses
Acid Red 215 is mainly used for dyeing wool, silk, tussah silk, vinylon, nylon, and vinylon/cotton blends in weakly acidic or neutral dye baths. It is also used for direct printing on wool, silk, and nylon fabrics. When used for dyeing wool with multiple fibers in the same bath, nylon receives a deeper color, silk a slightly lighter color, vinylon a lighter color, cellulose acetate and cotton show slight staining, and viscose fiber does not stain. It is also used for dyeing leather.
Preparation
2-Amino-5-nitrophenoldiazo, and 3-(3-Methyl-5-oxo-4,5-dihydropyrazol-1-yl)benzenesulfonamide coupling, and then in water solution and chromium acid were hot, make the generation of the 1:2 chromium complex.
Properties and Applications
blue-ray red. Purplish red color to purple powder. Used for wool, silk and polyamide fiber fabric dyeing, also can be used for polyamide, silk, viscose and wool fabric printing, also can be used for leather dyeing.
