Calpain Inhibitor-2 (compound 5) is a peptide inhibitor of μ-calpain (Ki=9 nM). Calpain Inhibitor-2 exhibits antiproliferative activity against melanoma cell lines (A-375 and B-16F1) and PC-3 prostate cancer cells in vitro[1].
