Description

AO-80 is a high performance, non-discoloring, partially-hindered phenolic antioxidant for the stabilization of polyolefins and other plastics.

Physical properties

Highly efficient radical scavenger Exceptional processing and long-term heat stabilization；Excellent resistance to discoloration, particularly against NOx gas.

Uses

Antioxidant AO80is high molecular weight hindered phenolic antioxidant suitable for the protection of variety of polymers, such as LDPE,ABS and PET, and it is particularly recommended for PP, HDPE, LLDPE, HIPS, PBT,POM, PA, PU and Nylon.JADEWIN AO 80 can provide high heat stability and suppresses initial color.It is particularly suitable for polymers that are exposed to high temperatures and/or severe conditions during processing and/or in use.The application rate will depend on a number of factors including the application, the degree of protection required and effect of other additives.

Uses

2,4,8,10-Tetraoxaspiro[5.5]undecane-3,9-diylbis(2-methylpropane-2,1-diyl) bis(3-(3-(tert-butyl)-4-hydroxy-5-methylphenyl)propanoate) (cas# 90498-90-1) is a useful compound used as a modifier for the thermo-oxidative stabilization of synthesized meterials such as polypropylene-based materials, and spider silk.

Engineering plastic: PBT, POM, PC, PA, HIPS, etc.
Polyolefin: PP, PE, LDPE, LLDPE, etc.
Styrene resin: ABS, PS, etc.

Synthesis

The PPS resin was vacuum dried at 120 for 12 h, and then the antioxidant GA80 was mixed with the PPS resin according to the mixing ratios of 0.5, 1.0, 3.0 and 5.0 (mass fraction, the same below). % (mass fraction, the same below) of the mixing ratio of the antioxidant GA 80 and PPS resin mixed uniformly, and then use the miniature twin-screw extruder melt blending and extrusion, screw extruder zoning temperature were _x000D _ 280, 285, 290 , mixing time 3 min, screw speed 25 r/min, the composite material prepared is named PPSG x , where x is the content of antioxidant GA80.
