Chemical Properties

Chemical name is N-tert-butyl-α-benzothiazole, primary amine structure, there is no problem of nitrosamine toxic substances, its performance is similar to the accelerator NOBS, the appearance of light yellow-brown powder, melting point higher than 103 ℃, moisture and ash. The synthesis of rubber accelerator NS (TBBS) is generally through the accelerator M (2-thiol benzothiazole) and tert-butylamine condensation in the presence of oxidizing agent, the industrial synthesis of sodium hypochlorite as an oxidizing agent, the process is relatively perfect. The addition of a small amount of surfactant in the aqueous phase can promote the full dispersion of M, solubilization, thus improving the yield.
