Alexa Fluor 594 NHS Ester can be used in the labelling of dengue virus. It has been used in cytochrome c-capped fluorescent gold nanoclusters for imaging of live cells and delivery of cytochrome c. It can also be used in the development of improved cationic polymer-DNA polyplexes for gene delivery.
