1,1-Dimethylethyl 5-Amino-4-cyano-1H-pyrazole-1-carboxylic Acid Ester is an intermediate used in the synthesis of 5-Oxo-Zaleplon (O870470), which is a metabolite of Zaleplon (Z145000), a selective non-benzodiazepine GABAA receptor agonist (1,2,3). Zaleplon is used to treat insomnia (3).
