Biological Activity
Studies have demonstrated th at Curcumin β-D-glucuronide exhibits anticancer properties in mouse tumor models and human metastatic colorectal cancer cell lines by promoting apoptosis. Additionally, it has shown potential as a colon cancer prevention agent through metabolism by r at liver microsomes. This compound also possesses anti-inflammatory attributes attributed to its ability to inhibit prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) levels in humans.

Curcumin-β-D-glucuronide (90 mg/kg; i.p. thrice a week for 3 weeks) exhibit potent anti-tumor effects on KRASm/TP53w HCT116 xenograft model[1].
