Description
N-(Azido-PEG3)-N-bis(PEG3-acid) HCl salt is a click chemistry branched molecule. It enables PEGylation via Click Chemistry. The terminal carboxylic acids can react with primary amino groups in the presence of activators (e.g. EDC, or HATU) to form a stable amide bond.
Uses
N-(Azido-PEG3)-N-bis(PEG3-acid) is a PEG-based PROTAC linker that can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs[1]. N-(Azido-PEG3)-N-bis(PEG3-acid) is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Azide group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reaction (CuAAc) with molecules containing Alkyne groups. It can also undergo strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) reactions with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups.
