Genistein 4''-β-D-glucopyranoside is a metabolite of Genistein (G350000), which exhibits specific inhibitory activity against tyrosine kinases,including autophosphorylation of epidermal growth factor receptor kinase (IC50 - 2.6uM). Also inhibits other protein kinases through competitive inhibition of ATP. Inhibits tumor cell proliferation and induces tumor cell differentiation.

Biological Activity

Sophoricoside (SOP) improves lipopolysaccharides (LPS)-induced acute lung injury (ALI) in mice by activating the adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase (AMPK)/nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 (Nrf2) signaling pathway. It also improves contact dermatitis by inhibiting the nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-KB) pathway in B cells in mice model.', 'Sophoricoside elicits anti-cancer, immunosuppressive, and anti-inflammatory activities. It inhibits proinflammatory cytokine production in human mast cells and has the potential to tre at allergic inflammation diseases.

When the Sophoricoside is orally administered 1 h before compound 48/80 injections, the scratching behaviors is reduced. The inhibition rate of Sophoricoside (2 mg/kg) is approximately 41.21%. Orally administered Sophoricoside inhibits the scratching behaviors by 47.31%. When mice are treated for 2 weeks with Sophoricoside, the atopic dermatitis is recovered to a significant extent^[1].
