Uses

Hericenone I (Compound 24) is an aromatic compound, which is found in Hericium erinaceum. Hericenone I can be biosynthetically generated from hericenone A via acid-catalyzed cyclization. Hericenone I is promising for research of neurodegenerative diseases[1].
