- Molybdenum hexacarbonyl-mediated Pauson-Khand reactions
- Rhodium-catalyzed hydroformylation reaction
Application
Horner-Wittig reagent for the preparation of methoxyvinyl ethers and hence homologous aldehydes; the anion has greater stability and nucleophilicity than the analogous phosphonium ylide.
