Chemical Properties
N-Ethyl-2-pyrrolidone (NEP) is a colorless, clear liquid that serves as a low-volatility aprotic solvent classified as a reproductive toxicant. It is characterized by high solvency, low vapor pressure, and a low dielectric constant.
Uses
1-Ethyl-2-pyrrolidone was used to modify coir fiber (from Cocos nucifera) by photocuring.
Application
N-Ethyl-2-pyrrolidone is commonly used as a solvent. It has a low boiling point, which makes it suitable for use in low light and at constant pressure. It is also used as an intermediate in the preparation of polycarboxylic acid. It has been shown to be involved in both viscosity and hydrogen bonding.

CDK7 gene is a member of the cyclin-dependent protein kinase family th at is important regulators of cell cycle progression. CDK7 forms a trimeric complex with cyclin H and MAT1, which functions as a CDK-activating kinase (CAK). CDK7 is an essential component of the transcription factor TFIIH th at is involved in transcription initiation and DNA repair. CDK7 is thought to serve as a direct link between the regulation of transcription and the cell cycle.
