Methyldimethoxysilane Chemical Properties,Uses,Production
Description
Methyldimethoxysilane, reactive silane containing both Si-H and methoxy functional groups. The SiH group can be utilized for hydrosilylation to form methoxysilyl functional materials. Modification by hydrosilylation can bring the benefit of moisture cure or crosslinking by reactive methoxy groups.

Safety Profile
A poison by ingestion, subcutaneous, and intravenous routes. A moderate eye irritant. When heated to decomposition it emits acrid smoke and irritating vapors.
