Uses
Lesofavumab (MHAB5553A) is a human IgG1κ anti-influenza B virus antibody[1].
in vivo
Lesofavumab (46B8; 15 mg/kg; i.v.; single dose) is able to protect mice against lethal challenge of the mutant influenza B virus[2].

| Administration: | Intravenous administration, single dose, 24, 48 or 72h post infection |
| Result: | Treatment at 24 and 48 h post infection resulted in 100% protection, with the only exception of mice infected with B/Russia/1/1969 that showed a 60% protection when treatment commenced at 48h. Even when given at 72h post infection, 48B8 was highly efficacious resulting in 100% protection against the B/Brisbane/60/2008, B/Victoria/504/2000 and B/Massachusetts/3/1966 strains, 75% protection against B/Wisconsin/1/2010 and 50% protection against B/Russia/1/1969. |
