Use
Cellulose acetate propionate is similar to butyrate in both costand properties. Some grades have slightlyhigher strength and modulus of elasticity. Propionatehas better molding characteristics, butlower weatherability than butyrate. Moldedparts include steering wheels, fuel filter bowls,and appliance housings. Transparent sheeting isused for blister packaging and food containers.
