Biological ActivityGimatecan (ST1481) is a potent topoisomerase I inhibitor. It is an orally active camptothecin analog with antineoplastic activity.

Gimatecan (2 mg/kg; treatment per os, every fourth day for four times) is effective for inhibiting tumor growth.
