UsesD-(-)-Lactic acid-13C-1 is the 13C labeled D-(-)-Lactic acid. D-(-)-Lactic acid is a normal intermediate in the fermentation (oxidation, metabolism) of sugar. D-(-)-Lactic acid is identified to be a competitive inhibitor of ProDH (proline dehydrogenase) in plants[1].
