Abelacimab can be used in thromboembolic disease studies[1][2]. | | in vivo | Abelacimab (MAA868) (s.c., 3-30 mg/kg, on day 1, 85, 114) shows strong and sustained anticoagulant effects in crab-eating monkeys, significantly prolongs aPTT and has a good safety profile, with no significant toxic findings or signs of bleeding observed[1].
Abelacimab (MAA868) (i.v., 0.6 mg/kg) exhibits good anticoagulant activity to prevent carotid artery occlusion in iron chloride induced thrombosis FXI-/- C57BL/6 mice model[1].
