It has also been used as a fluorogenic substrate in enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). | | Biological Activity | 4-Methylumbelliferyl phosphate serves as a fluorogenic substrate for calmodulin-dependent protein phosphatase and in kinetic studies of alkaline phosphatase.
