Uses1,3,5-Tris(4-aminophenoxy)benzene (TAB), is used as a Cross-linker for the preparation of hyperbranched polymers. It can also be used in the preparation of polyimide rod coil block copolymers, used as electrolytes for lithium polymer batteries.
Synthesissynthesized routes of 1,3,5-tris(4-aminophenoxy)benzene (TAPOB)
Using the trifunctional cross-linking agent 1,3,5-tris(4-aminophenoxy)benzene (TAPOB) as a raw material, a series of cross-linked polyimide films with a low dielectric constant, low thermal expansion coefficient, and high modulus was prepared. TAPOB acts as a fixed node within the cross-linked network, imparting a thermally induced shape memory effect to the material and enabling controlled shape recovery. Meanwhile, the azobenzene groups confer photo-induced deformation properties, granting the films light-driven actuation capabilities.
