Application1-Methyl-1H-1H-1,2,3-triazol-4-carboxaldehyde can be used to prepare compounds with the following structure that can activate Nrf2. Activation of Nrf2 has been shown to have beneficial effects on both liver and kidney diseases. NAFLD (non-alcoholic fatty liver disease) is considered a leading cause of chronic liver disease worldwide. Other liver diseases (such as toxin-induced liver disease, viral hepatitis, and cirrhosis) may benefit from the treatment of Nrf2 activators.
