SynthesisIn an oxygen-free environment, 1080 g of was added to the preheating tank. 4,4'-Diethyl phenyl sulfide to make 4,4'-Diethyl phenyl sulfide preheating to 220 , then using a metering pump to 4,4'-Diethyl phenyl sulfide into the tubular reactor, using a liquid flow meter to control the flow rate of 4,4'-Diethyl phenyl sulfide into the tubular reactor, hydrogen sulfide gas into the tubular reactor, using a gas flow meter to control the flow rate of hydrogen sulfide gas into the tubular reactor, using a gas flow meter to control the flow rate of hydrogen sulfide gas into the tubular reactor. The flow rate of hydrogen sulfide gas was introduced into the tubular reactor, and a gas flow meter was used to control the flow rate of hydrogen sulfide gas into the tubular reactor, so as to make the hydrogen sulfide gas and 4,4'-diethyl phenyl sulfide in the tubular reactor contact at atmospheric pressure at 350 and react in equimoles, wherein 4,4'-diethyl phenyl sulfide and hydrogen sulfide reacted at equimoles in the tubular reactor, with 4,4'-diethyl phenyl sulfide and hydrogen sulfide reacting in the tube reactor. The yield of the product 4-ethylbenzenethiol (yield = actual amount of product/theoretical amount of product*100%) was calculated to be 97.8%, and the purity of the product was detected by gas chromatography, and the purity of the product was 99.2% by gas chromatography.
