DescriptionBG14 is a probe for chemo-optical modulation of epigenetically regulated transcription (COMET). It enables high-resolution, optical control of epigenetic mechanisms and photochromically inhibits human histone deacetylases using visible light.
UsesBG14 is a chemical optical modulation of epigenetic regulation of transcription (COMET) probe. BG14 enables high-resolution optical control of epigenetic mechanisms using visible light and can photochromically inhibit human histone deacetylases (HDACs). BG14 can be used to study the dynamic regulation of the human genome[1].
