| Uses | Mordant Brown 33 is mainly used for dyeing wool tops, yarns, and various woolen fabrics, especially carpets. It can also be used for dyeing silk, nylon, fur, leather, etc., and for printing on wool or silk fabrics pretreated with chromium acetate. Dyeing should preferably be done using a post-mortem dyeing method. This product is sensitive to acids and alkalis; excessive acid content or aldehydes in the auxiliaries will cause the color to turn red.
