Quinolactacin A1 Usage And Synthesis
UsesQuinolactacin A1 is the dominant analogue of a family of quniolone metabolites produced by Penicillium citrinum. Quinolactacin A1 rapidly epimerises to equilibrate with its diastereomer quinolactacin A2 in protic solvents. The mixture has been shown to inhibit acetylcholinesterase and TNF production.
