The reaction mixture was stirred at 0 °C for about 30 minutes, followed by warming up to room temperature (about 25 °C - 30 °C) and continued stirring for 2-3 hours. Upon completion of the reaction, the reaction was quenched with ice water and then extracted with dichloromethane (DCM). The organic layers were combined and dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate (Na2SO4) and subsequently concentrated under reduced pressure.
