| Uses | Strychnine Hydrochloride acts as an antagonist for cholinesterases and beta amyloid aggregation. | | Uses | Strychnine hydrochloride has been used as a glycine receptor antagonist in the retina for biophysiological functions. It has also been used to block glutamatergic, GABAergic and glycinergic receptors and gap junctions. | | Definition | ChEBI: A hydrochloride obtained by combining strychnine with one molar equivalent of hydrogen chloride. | | Biological Activity | Competitive glycine receptor antagonist; convulsant.
